The condo buildings nearest UCLA sit north of Wilshire Boulevard and west of campus, on Roebling Avenue, Strathmore Drive, Midvale Avenue, Ophir Drive, Kelton Avenue and Veteran Avenue, and their units run small. As of October 29, 2026, /market-reports/westwood showed 125 Westwood condos for sale at a $1,085,000 median asking price.
Building counts, unit mixes, sizes and years built below come from the Los Angeles County Assessor's 2026 parcel roll as compiled in our register at /condo-buildings, which lists buildings with 20 or more condo units. Prices and rents are asking figures on CRMLS listings published on LA Condo HQ, read October 30, 2026 from the Westwood report (data as of October 29, 2026). None is a closed sale. Six register buildings on the streets west of campus
In ZIP 90024 the register holds 69 condo buildings with 20 or more units, 5,071 units in all. Most are not at the campus edge: 30 of those buildings line Wilshire Boulevard. The six whose parcels sit farthest north and west, in the blocks between the north end of Westwood Village and Veteran Avenue, are the closest the register comes to UCLA's western side.
The largest is 10982 Roebling Avenue, 209 units built in 1973, almost all of them small: 76 studios, 95 one-bedrooms, 36 two-bedrooms and two three-bedrooms, at a median 663 square feet. Next is 527 Midvale Avenue, 106 units from 1986, with 16 studios, 26 one-bedrooms and 64 two-bedrooms at a median 819 square feet.
10965 Strathmore Drive has 69 units built in 1989, eight one-bedrooms and 61 two-bedrooms, at a median 897 square feet. The other three are smaller and older: 440 Veteran Avenue, 31 units from 1970 at a median 1,063 square feet; 11044 Ophir Drive, 30 units from 1972, 16 of them studios; and 540 Kelton Avenue, 26 units from 1964, 24 of them two-bedrooms, at a median 1,195 square feet.
Each address has its own register page, for example /condo-buildings/10982-roebling-ave-los-angeles-90024 and /condo-buildings/527-midvale-ave-los-angeles-90024, with the parcel location and the roll's unit breakdown. Walk the route to the building you care about yourself; the roll records parcels, not walking times.
South of the Village: Veteran and Hilgard
Two more large buildings sit near Wilshire rather than near the campus edge. 1440 Veteran Avenue, south of Wilshire, has 256 units built in 1972, the most of any register building in the ZIP: 30 studios, 125 one-bedrooms, 99 two-bedrooms and two three-bedrooms, at a median 693 square feet.
969 Hilgard Avenue, near the Wilshire end of Hilgard, has 139 units, 88 of them one-bedrooms and 50 two-bedrooms, at a median 751 square feet. The roll gives its year built as 1961, with parcels recorded as late as 1984.
Small units by campus, large ones on Wilshire
The size gap is the clearest difference between these buildings and the rest of Westwood. The register's Wilshire Boulevard towers in 90024 include buildings whose median unit tops 2,700 square feet, such as 10490 Wilshire Boulevard at 2,776 and 10580 Wilshire Boulevard at 2,762.
That pulls Westwood's averages up. As of October 29, 2026, the median Westwood for-sale listing measured 1,571 square feet, more than twice the median unit at 10982 Roebling Avenue or 1440 Veteran Avenue. A Westwood median price is mostly a Wilshire corridor price, so read it as context, not as a quote for a studio near campus.
What Westwood asked by layout on October 29
As of October 29, 2026, the three Westwood studios for sale asked a median $419,000, about $1,111 a square foot, a figure three listings can move. The 21 one-bedrooms asked $595,000, about $736 a foot. Two-bedrooms, 74 listings or 59% of the total, asked $1,180,000, about $749 a foot, and the 22 three-bedrooms asked $1,312,000.
By price, seven of the 125 listings asked under $500,000 and 52 asked between $500,000 and $1 million, so 59 listings, or 47%, asked under $1 million. Asks ran from $359,999 to $12,500,000, and listings had been on the market a median 55 days. Citywide, /market-stats showed 1,973 condos for sale at a median $779K and $676 a square foot, inventory refreshed October 29, 2026.
Where the near-campus listings were
The Westwood report also counts listings it can match to a profiled building by exact address. As of October 29, 2026, it attributed 10 listings to /buildings/10982-roebling-avenue, seven to /buildings/1440-veteran-avenue and three to /buildings/540-kelton-avenue. The Wilshire Regent led Westwood with 12. Listings the report cannot match by address count in its totals but not in that table, so a building can have more units for sale than shown there.
The individual listings, with their own asking prices, dues and photos, are at /condos-for-sale. Prices on a single listing change daily, so we do not quote them here.
Renting near campus
As of October 29, 2026, Westwood had 105 condos for rent at a median asking rent of $5,495 a month. One-bedrooms asked a median $3,375, two-bedrooms $5,500 and three-bedrooms $7,500. Three rentals asked under $2,500 a month and 21 asked $2,500 to $4,000.
A condo rental is a lease from an individual owner, so the association's rules on leasing, minimum terms and move-ins apply alongside the lease. Current rentals are at /condos-for-rent.

Before an offer on a building this old
Of the eight near-campus and Village buildings above, five were built between 1964 and 1973. Ask the association for its reserve study, recent assessments and any balcony or exterior elevated element inspection, and read its leasing rules if you plan to rent the unit out. Some register pages now show a City of Los Angeles soft-story retrofit status where the city's records match the address. The checklist at /condo-associations lists the documents worth requesting, and /neighborhoods/westwood covers the rest of the neighborhood, including the Wilshire corridor.
