How many condominium projects are there in Los Angeles?
The Los Angeles County Assessor's 2026 roll shows 1,548 condominium projects with 20 or more unit parcels in Los Angeles, holding 83,362 units between them. A project is the set of units recorded on the same tract (or parcel map) and lot. 562 of them match a California DRE subdivision public report by tract number.
How do I find the HOA for a condo in Los Angeles?
Neither the Assessor's roll nor DRE's list names homeowners associations. California associations file a Statement by Common Interest Development Association (Form SI-CID) with the Secretary of State under Civil Code section 5405, searchable on bizfile Online (bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov). A seller must also provide the association's documents under Civil Code section 4525.
