As of October 19, 2026, /market-stats showed 2,015 Los Angeles condos published for sale at a median asking price of $780K, or $674 a square foot. The /new-listings page counted 264 condos with an MLS list date in the previous 14 days and 751 asking less than their original list price, with Downtown LA adding the most.

These are asking prices and rents on CRMLS listings LA Condo HQ publishes, not closed sales. We read the pages on October 19, 2026; /market-stats and the neighborhood reports date their data to October 18, and /new-listings to the October 19 refresh. Listings refresh every six hours.

This week's headline figures against last week's

Last week's brief, written from the October 12 pages, reported 1,980 published for-sale listings, a $787K median asking price and $675 a square foot. As of October 19, 2026, /market-stats showed 2,015 listings, $780K and $674, with the citywide median asking rent still rounded to $4K a month.

Those are two snapshots of the listings on this site, a week apart. Thirty-five more listings and a median $7K lower describe a change in what was published, not in what any condo is worth.

The recorded daily median, October 12 to 18

/market-stats records the median asking price of its published listings once a day. As of October 19, 2026, it showed $789K from October 12 through October 15, then $782K on October 16, $785K on October 17 and $780K on October 18. That last value ties the low of a series that has stayed between $780K and $790K since recording began on September 27. A median shifts whenever pricier or cheaper units enter or leave the feed, so a $9K dip is not evidence that sellers cut prices.

The 14-day count and the reduction count

The 264 new listings are condos with an MLS list date inside a rolling 14-day window as of October 19, 2026. Last week's brief reported 271 for its window, but the two windows share a week, so the difference is not a weekly figure.

The 751 price reductions, up from 741 in last week's brief, are a standing count of listings asking below their original MLS list price. The MLS does not record when a price changed, so many cuts may predate this week, and reductions of 50 percent or more are dropped as likely data errors.

Neighborhoods with the most new listings

As of October 19, 2026, /new-listings ranked Downtown LA first with 34 new and 131 reduced, then Hollywood Hills West with 31 and 74 and Santa Monica with 26 and 62. West Hollywood and Koreatown had 21 new each, with 62 and 43 reductions. Westwood had 16 new and Sawtelle 14.

Koreatown moved most against last week's brief, which listed it at 12 new. Marina del Rey showed no new listings and five reductions. Each qualifying area has its own list, such as /neighborhoods/koreatown/new-listings.

What the five busiest areas' reports show

The Downtown LA report at /market-reports/downtown-la showed 338 condos for sale as of October 18, 2026, at a median asking price of $575,000, about $607 a square foot, a median 87 days on market and a median asking rent of $3,125 a month.

/market-reports/hollywood-hills-west showed 64 for sale at $784,000, about $700 a square foot, 64 days on market and $4,047 a month in asking rent. /market-reports/santa-monica showed 164 at $1,295,000, about $983 a square foot, 48 days and $4,850 a month.

/market-reports/west-hollywood showed 174 at $895,000, about $816 a square foot, 52 days and $4,825 a month. /market-reports/koreatown showed 134 at $687,000, about $584 a square foot, 63 days and $2,590 a month.

Questions buyers ask about this week's LA condo listings
